TRELOAR’S SCHOOL AND COLLEGE CAMPUS

Over a period of twenty years, the practice has completed a number of new buildings and refurbishment projects for Treloar Trust, who administer the Lord Mayor Treloar National Specialist College and School for disabled students on separate sites near Alton.

These original projects included boarding houses for disabled children at Lord Mayor Treloar School at their Froyle site, set in parkland, adjacent to a Grade II* Jacobean House overlooking a parkland setting. Heywood House, the first of three buildings – now demolished as part of the site redevelopment for market housing – was honoured with a Civic Trust Award and won the East Hampshire Conservation and Design Award 1997.
