BEGGARWOOD COMMUNITY CENTRE

The location of this modest individual building, due to be completed in late 2017, is derived from the community masterplanning exercise for Beggarwood Park. With a floor area of around 200 square metres, it provides spaces for community activities, accommodating meetings by local groups, including volunteers working in the park. The accommodation has been derived from the priorities identified by local interest groups through an extensive consultation process. The main hall is sub-dividable to provide up to three individually serviced function spaces, each with views over the park. There is also an external storage facility and externally accessible toilets for use by local wildlife groups.
