Completed in 2007, this project involved the conversion and refurbishment of two separate derelict Victorian School buildings into a Youth Centre offering recreational facilities for young people with disabilities, learning and sensory impairments, and a Play Centre offering specialised recreational facilities for younger children. The project also included the provision of significant specialist external play equipment, landscaping and external play areas and the conversion of some outbuildings into offices to support the specialist provision on the site. Winner of the Community award in the 2009 Waverley Design Awards.
