THE MUSIC BUILDING
Not only did this building represent Phase Two of the campus regeneration strategy plan, providing a specialist music teaching facility, but, through removal of the old science centre and the Yorkon building, it also led to significant improvements to the parking and an enhanced landscaped setting for the northern quarter of the campus.
The building was designed to provide spaces suitable for the teaching and practice of music, including the necessary devices to prevent the outbreak of sound from and within the building.
