The Performing Arts Centre is an extension to an existing drama studio space that has been wrapped around the existing retained spaces.

The project involved demolishing surrounding ‘out shoots’ and the construction of a two storey extension to provide teaching and rehearsal space, a dedicated dance studio, foyer, private study, changing, scene dock and WC’s, so that the department can function within a ‘stand–alone’ facility, that also provides high quality public spaces. The new building created a ‘landmark’ structure at the entrance of the college.
