CLIDDESDEN ROAD

Completed in 2008, this housing scheme, on a heavily constrained site, involved the ‘enabling’ sale of land on the north-eastern boundary of the QMC campus, and adopts an intelligent solution that responds to both the level differences and its setting amongst a significant group of trees and shrubs that form the boundary with Cliddesden Road. To the north of the site, five townhouses reflect the spirit of much of the adjoining local housing, with a block of 14 two bed apartments to the south taking advantage of the level differences to incorporate discreet undercroft parking.
