The new teaching building for Dove House School has recently been completed

The newly completed building provides special educational needs facilities for the teaching of Maths, LSB, Food Technology, Textiles, Resistant Materials, and Performing Arts. It was realised through a £2.1 million grant from the Education & Skills Funding Agency to fully fund the project. The school comprises a main permanent building accommodating specialist teaching accommodation with support areas comprising an ‘Air Dome’ tensile structure sports facility, three recently developed modular buildings, and five blocks of single storey ‘Portakabin style’ temporary buildings containing nine classrooms. Richmond Fellowship’s supported housing scheme in Abingdon is now complete

Richmond Fellowship is a registered charity and specialist provider of mental health services.  It provides supported housing schemes which comprise shared accommodation where people have their own private rooms but share kitchens and living rooms. This creates a community spirit that can help people develop their independent living and social skills in a safe environment. It is available to adults aged over 18, who are experiencing a mental health problem and have a need for housing related support.
